The Autonomous Mobility & Law Summit, scheduled to take place on 2 and 3 September 2026, will not go ahead.

Following careful consideration, Hamburg Messe und Congress has decided not to pursue the event format further at this time. Despite the high relevance of the topic, the current framework conditions do not allow for a viable implementation. This decision was not taken lightly.

The Summit was conceived as a platform for interdisciplinary exchange at the interface of autonomous mobility, technology and law. Its aim was to discuss practice-oriented perspectives on technological developments, regulatory frameworks and outstanding issues relating to liability, data protection, infrastructure and urban planning.

Although the Autonomous Mobility & Law Summit 2026 will not be realised, the subject area remains highly relevant. Developments in the field of autonomous mobility are progressing and will continue to be monitored closely by us.
